What you need to know for your FIRST HYPE CLASS

First time at HypeHouse? Let’s go.

You don’t need to be experienced — you just need to show up. Whether you’re brand new or getting back into it, our coaches will guide you through everything from form to finding the rhythm so you can move at your own pace and feel confident doing it.

Start with an intro offer and come see what the HYPE is all about.

BEFORE

HYDRATE + FUEL: You will get extra sweaty in your workout, so be sure you are hydrating before, during, and after.  Bring your own, fill up in studio or we have water available for purchase as well.

ATTIRE: Any type of athletic clothing you feel comfortable in is suitable, although we recommend pants that fit tight at the ankles. For our cycling classes, we are 100% ‘clip-in’ at HypeHouse.  Clipping in allows for a safer ride for riders and to target all the right muscles to get the most out of your ride. We have you covered by offering shoe rentals for $2 and select shoes in store for purchase.  If you have your own cycling shoes, great, we are SPD and Look Delta compatible. Also, socks!!

For our strength training classes, please bring a pair of clean gym shoes.

CHANGING ROOMS + STORAGE: We have cubbies for securely storing your belongings. Bathrooms and showers available.

ARRIVAL

CHECK IN: First timers, please arrive 10-15 minutes early and check in at the front desk. For all others, if you’re not signed in 2 minutes before class, your spot will be released to the next person.

Please let us know so we can help you get set up on the bike, fitted for shoes, and tell you everything you need to know about our style of class. You will also need to fill out a New Rider Waiver and review the bike & strength safety instructions when you arrive for your first time.

Please note, riders under 18 must have their parent or guardian sign the waiver IN PERSON.

HYPETIME

ETIQUETTE:  HypeHouse is a studio where you can come as you are and improve your mind, body, and soul. A place where we unplug, let go, and be present in the moment.

For that reason, we do not allow cell phones inside the hype room during class. If you are on call, have a sick family member, or need to be by your phone for any reason, you are welcome to leave your phone with the front desk. They are trained on how to enter the room in the dark and guide you out.

We also ask that watches be put in theater mode to avoid any extra disruption.

Remember to treat others as you want to be treated, listen to your body, have fun and #bekindAF!
